And after we zoom in and pull the boat back into view BECAUSE IT HASN’T GONE OVER THE HORIZON this is his response.

He even says it in big bold letters to let everyone know that he is correct…however, he isn’t.
As we take a closer look:
Evaluating this snide remake again “Even the FLAT EARTH videos show the ship below the horizon!” I’m not sure why one would say something and not even realize that what you are saying is just simply incorrect. Let’s continue…
He goes on to say: After watching the video in slow motion and reviewing several screenshots, it appears that the video may have been edited or altered. The ship seems to disappear before it is far enough away to be naturally obscured, especially when using the nearby land structure as a reference point. Where did it go? I see a little bump but is that the boat unedited? I am unsure. This video doesn’t provide anything for flat earth unfortunately. Perhaps a clearer video without suspecting of editing would reveal more.
So now he is claiming that the video is edited - like someone sat there and edited this little clip to disprove the world. He is just unsure…The dude from the shore can’t see the boat. He zooms in and wow look at that - a boat. But yeah he probably edited… Let’s just call it inconclusive evidence. If you don’t like this video, I will work on finding plenty more instances of this exact phenomenon. Just wait till we get to the point where we examine land masses between 30 and 60 miles that are visible!
“For that claim to be supported, the footage would need to clearly show the lower portion of the ship, specifically the part where the hull meets the water.” So the problem with this, which you probably didn’t think of, is that in an ocean there are waves. A small little wave from 10 miles away actually will cover up more of the boat than you would think due to perspective. In addition, the ocean swells so the boat goes up and down.
You say “ I would also expect to see the ship appear very small at first and then gradually become more recognizable as a ship as the camera zooms in. That would better support the claim that the ship was always visible but simply too small to identify.” So the point that you can’t even see the boat because it’s even farther out to sea even strengthens the point that as you zoom in, you can now clearly see the boat. It was once believed that because a person from shore looking out to sea slowly saw a boat disappear and that is one of the supporting reasons that they thought the earth was round. Now that we have better zoom capabilities, we can clearly bring the object back into view. To see the boat “Very Small” would simply mean that it’s closer to shore. To not see it at all means that it is farther away from shore…
“I think flat Earth believers are thinking they are seeing the whole ship and not realization there are several feet missing from the bottom. I can see how this would be an easy mistake visually, but logically there is no excuse for this level of ignorance.” Um the excuse is that it’s an ocean with waves. The farther you are out in the ocean, the more waves will affect the lower portion of the boat. In addition, as you get farther and farther out, everything crushes into the horizon. Finally, at 10 miles (which we don't know how far these boats are) that would be 66 ft of curvature. Do you believe that the small amount of the bottom that is missing is anywhere close to 66ft? That's around a 7 story builidng that should be not showing.
I will say that this video is compelling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNGorPyX9OQ However, notice how they guy is all the way zoomed in and never actually zoom in farther. Who knows how far this boat is - could be 15 miles away. After you run out of zoom, just like a viewer on shore, as a boat goes farther out, it appears to go over the horizon. If you don’t have zoom, you would believe that it did go over the horizon. Same with the sailboat video. He never zooms in. Just keeps the same distance the entire time.
